Tickets for Iowa State Game on Sale Saturday

MANHATTAN, Kan. Tickets for the October 3 football game in Arrowhead Stadium between Kansas State and Iowa State will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m., Saturday, officials announced today.

Tickets can be purchased at, via phone (1-800-745-3000) or at all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets are available for as low as $25.

Fans who have already purchased tickets directly through Kansas State or Iowa State will receive their tickets by mail in early September.

Tickets are priced as follows: Club Level $90; Lower Level $50; Upper Box $35; Upper Reserved $25.

Kansas State and Iowa State are scheduled to square off the next two seasons in Arrowhead Stadium as the Big 12 rivals meet in Kansas City. Iowa State is the home team for the 2009 game with Kansas State serving as home team in 2010. This season’s game will mark the fifth appearance for the Wildcats in Arrowhead Stadium. K-State’s last game at the home of the Kansas City Chiefs was December of 2003 when the Wildcats whipped Oklahoma, 35-7, to claim the Dr. Pepper Big 12 Championship.

K-State played two games in Arrowhead during the 2000 season, opening the campaign with a 27-7 victory over Iowa in the Eddie Robinson Classic before falling to Oklahoma, 27-24, in the Dr Pepper Big 12 Championship game. In 2003, the Cats opened the year in Arrowhead with a 42-28 win over California in the BCA Classic.

Iowa State will be playing its second game at Arrowhead, having faced Florida State in the 2002 Eddie Robinson Classic.
