Iowa State Game to Air at 11 a.m. on FSN

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The September 18 Big 12 football showdown between Kansas State and Iowa State at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City will be televised by Fox Sports Net beginning at 11 a.m., conference and school officials announced Tuesday.

Kansas State is the designated home team for the contest, which was selected as part of the network's Big 12 Conference television package and will be played in the renovated home of the Kansas City Chiefs. The Wildcats knocked off the Cyclones, 24-23, in last year's matchup as Emmanuel Lamur's blocked extra point in the final seconds proved to be the difference.

The television selection is the fourth of 2010 for K-State as its season opener at home against UCLA will air on ABC, the Nebraska game on October 7 will be shown nationally on ESPN and the Dillons Sunflower Showdown against rival Kansas on October 14 will also be televised nationally by Fox Sports Net.

The Wildcats open the 2010 campaign at home on September 4 when the Bruins visit Bill Snyder Stadium for the second annual K-State Family Reunion. Season tickets remain for one of the most exciting home schedules in school history.

On sale now are also 750 special mini-packages at $99 from which fans can choose either the Thursday night nationally-televised contest with Nebraska or the November showdown with defending Big 12 champion Texas and pair it with a Bowl/Sideline level ticket for either the Missouri State or Central Florida contests.
