Non-Conference Kick Times Announced

MANHATTAN, Kan. With the start of the 2008 football season just a few months away, the Kansas State Athletics Department announced that the Wildcats’ first two non-conference football games against North Texas and Montana State at Bill Snyder Family Stadium will kick at 6:05 p.m. CT, while the final out of league contest against Louisiana-Lafayette will begin at 2:35 p.m.


K-State opens the 2008 season against North Texas on August 30, which will feature the induction of the second K-State Ring of Honor class and begin a season-long celebration of the 1998 K-State team, before hosting the Bobcats of Montana State on September 6.


After a nationally-televised road contest at Louisville on September 17, Kansas State wraps up its non-conference schedule with a home date with Louisiana-Lafayette in a 2:35 p.m. afternoon tilt.


Due to the possibility of television affecting the remaining schedule, start times for the balance of Kansas State’s eight games are listed as TBA.


Kansas State’s popular Harley Day has been scheduled for the Wildcats’ 2008 Big 12 home opener on Saturday, Oct. 4, against Texas Tech. Oklahoma will serve as K-State’s 2008 homecoming opponent. The Wildcats and Sooners will square off at Bill Snyder Family Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 25.


Season tickets remain on sale, with several pricing and location options available. Reserved bench seating is priced at $300 for the seven-game package, while tickets in the general admission "Fun Zone" of the north end zone are $215. In addition, the “Young Alumni” season-ticket option is available to recent K-State graduates for $178.


Orders for individual-game tickets for K-State's seven home and five road games can also be purchased as single-game tickets and will go on sale to the general public on July 15. Home game tickets are priced at $35 for the non-conference games against North Texas, Montana State and Louisiana-Lafayette, $55 for Big 12 Conference games against Texas Tech and Iowa State and $75 for the Oklahoma and Nebraska matchups.
