K-State Announces Upcoming DVD Releases

MANHATTAN, Kan. The Kansas State Athletics Department announced Friday that several DVD releases will be available for Wildcat fans during the upcoming 2007-08 sports season and beyond.


Wildcat fans can now order the 2007 Video Season Ticket for the upcoming football season. The Video Season Ticket allows fans to receive an individual game DVD, featuring a two-hour version of the game including the radio broadcast from the K-State Sports Network. This game-by-game recap of the entire 12-game football season also includes any postseason games, possibly pushing the series total to as many as 14 DVDs. Also this fall, K-State fans will be able to purchase the first of a new DVD series titled “Wildcat Classics,” featuring classic games in Kansas State football history. The DVD will contain game footage with special features to provide a unique look back at a great moment in Wildcat football history. Further details on the first installment of “Wildcat Classics” will be released during the 2007 football season.


Slated for a fall of 2008 release, production began this past year on a two-disc DVD set chronicling the history of K-State Men’s Basketball. Titled “Tradition of Champions: The History of K-State Men’s Basketball,” this boxed DVD set will follow the illustrious history of Wildcat hoops from its infancy to the modern era of Wildcat basketball.
