MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State fans will have their first opportunity to see the 2013 football team on Saturday, August 17, during the Academy Sports + Outdoors Fall Football Kickoff at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

The public is asked to park on the east side of Bill Snyder Family Stadium and enter through Gates P, R, S and T for the event, which begins at 5 p.m. The ticket window on the east side of the stadium will be open for fans who wish to purchase single-game tickets, while concessions as well as merchandise from the K-State Super Store at the Stadium will be available on the east side. Due to construction of the West Stadium Center, the west and south sides of the stadium will be closed.

Beginning at 5 p.m., fans can watch the final hour of practice from seats in Sections 21-28 only before head coach Bill Snyder and team captains address the crowd. Fans will then be able to participate in a one-hour autograph session on the field with all players and coaches. Those participating are asked to limit the number of autographed items to one per person and are encouraged to provide their own item to be signed.

K-State opens its doors to the new West Stadium Center and kicks off the 2013 season by welcoming two-time defending FCS National Champion North Dakota State in a special Friday-night contest on August 30. The contest is slated for a 7:30 p.m., kickoff and will be televised nationally by FOX Sports 1.

The West Stadium Center Dedication Celebration will also take place on August 30. More details regarding the 11 a.m. public event will be announced in the coming days.

Season tickets for the upcoming season in addition to single-game tickets for the 2013 opener are sold out. Several hundred general admission/SRO tickets for all home games except North Dakota State and Iowa State remain available. Tickets can be purchased online, by phone or in person.
