Cats to Hold Final Open Practice Saturday

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State will hold its final of three open practices of the fall on August 18 with a workout at Bill Snyder Family Stadium from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

 

Kansas State returns a total of 49 lettermen (22-offense/25-defense/2-specialist), including 30 who made at least one start last year, for the 2007 season. Seven of the Wildcats’ returnees started at least half of the Cats’ 13 games on offense a year ago, with six starting at least seven games on defense.

 

The Wildcats will open their 2007 season Saturday, Sept. 1, when K-State travels to No. 14 Auburn for a nationally-televised game on ESPN. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. CT.
