MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State Athletic officials announced Tuesday that only 300 scattered singles remain available in reserved seating for the season opener Saturday against Eastern Kentucky as K-State closes in on a third-straight sellout for the K-State Family Reunion.

In addition to the 300 scattered singles, 500 general admission tickets have been opened in Section 28 for $20 each or four for $75.

"Game week of the season opener is always an exciting time, and our fans have responded once again as we are closing in on our third straight K-State Family Reunion sellout," Athletics Director John Currie said. "We anticipate the rest of the tickets to be sold out by the end of the week and look forward to a fun-filled day on Saturday."

The most convenient way to order tickets is through the new K-State Athletics Ticket website, www.k-statesports.com/tickets, or by calling 1-800-221-CATS.

Also, the ticket office inside Bramlage Coliseum will be open throughout the rest of the week from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The ticket booth on the west side of Bill Snyder Family Stadium will open at 3 p.m., on game day, while the east side will open at 4 p.m.

As a thank you to the Wildcat fans for their tremendous impact and support, K-State has extended the ticket discount for the Baylor game on October 1, as a four-pack of tickets for $99 will continue to be available through Friday, September 9.

Kansas State's home opener against EKU, which kicks off at 6:10 p.m., will be broadcast live across the globe in high definition on K-StateHD.TV beginning with K-State Gameday, featuring Mark Simoneau, at 5:15 p.m. For information on K-StateHD.TV, including subscription details, visit www.k-statehd.tv.
