Bill Snyder Radio Show Debuts Thursday

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Bill Snyder Radio Show will make its 2009 debut on Thursday as Saturday's season opener against UMass draws nearer.

The show, hosted by the Voice of the Wildcats Wyatt Thompson, will air live from 7-8 p.m. each week across the 32-station K-State Sports Network.

Fans are invited to dial into the show, which will be broadcast from the Big 8 Room of the Vanier Complex, to ask Coach Snyder questions each week by calling 1-866-KS-ST-CAT (1-866-577-8228).

Also, fans interested in listening to live online broadcasts of 2009 football games can do so by subscribing to the Wildcat Audio Package, a service that is separate from PowerCat Passport option, for just $5.95 per month.

Less than 4,000 seats remain for Saturday's opener, including general admission tickets in Section 28, while members of the military can also receive a $20 GA ticket in Section 28 to the Family Reunion contest with proper identification. Group tickets for the UMass game are available for as low as $10 as well. Fans that purchase tickets this week are also encouraged to utilize the "print at home" option as game-day approaches.
Season tickets for 2009 also remain available in good locations. The most convenient way to order tickets is online. Tickets may also be purchased at the K-State Athletic Ticket Office in Bramlage Coliseum during the week. The ticket office will also hold extended office hours on Thursday and Friday until 7 p.m. in an effort to accommodate as many fans as possible.

Kickoff for Coach Snyder's first game in three seasons is set for 6:10 p.m. at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Will call on Saturday will open at 3 p.m. at the stadium's west ticket booth.
