K-State in the NFL - Week 1

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Each week throughout the 2014 season, k-statesports.com will highlight former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.

Arthur Brown, LB - Baltimore Ravens
A second-round draft pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, Brown was inactive during Baltimore's 23-16 loss at Cincinnati on Sunday. The second-year player made 15 tackles, including a half sack, in 14 games last season.

Bryce Brown, RB - Buffalo Bills
Brown, a seventh-round pick in 2012 by Philadelphia who was traded to Buffalo in the offseason, was inactive for the Bills' 23-20 overtime victory at Chicago on Sunday.

Jeromey Clary, OL - San Diego Chargers
Clary is on the physically unable to perform list for the San Diego Chargers. Clary, who is in his eighth season, has played in 103 career regular season games. San Diego lost at Arizona, 18-17, Monday night.

Emmanuel Lamur, LB - Cincinnati Bengals
Lamur, an undrafted rookie free agent signee by Cincinnati in 2012, made his first career NFL start a good one Sunday as he came away with a team-high 11 tackles and carded his first career interception in the Bengals' 23-16 win over Baltimore. Lamur, who sat out the 2013 season due to injury, had only 19 career tackles in nine games entering the 2014 season.

Cornelius Lucas, OL - Detroit Lions
An undrafted rookie free agent who made the 53-man roster for Detroit, Lucas was inactive for the Lions' 35-14 Monday-night victory over the New York Giants.

Jordy Nelson, WR - Green Bay Packers
Playing in his 90th career game and making his 42nd career start, Nelson hauled in nine receptions for 83 yards in Green Bay's 36-16 loss last Thursday at Seattle. Nelson has accumulated 4,673 career receiving yards on 311 catches with 36 touchdowns.

Terence Newman, CB - Cincinnati Bengals
Newman, a 12-year NFL veteran, made his 114th career start and played in his 146th career game Sunday as the Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Baltimore Ravens, 23-16. Newman made six tackles and batted away one pass as he now has 675 tackles and 134 passes defended in his career.

Darren Sproles, RB/Returner - Philadelphia Eagles
Beginning his 10th NFL season and his first as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, Sproles recorded 147 all-purpose yards - including a 49-yard touchdown run on 4th and 1 - as the Eagles defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars, 34-17. Sproles rushed 11 times for 71 yards, caught four passes for 14 yards and returned four punts for a total of 62 yards. His 49-yard rush was the Eagles' first score of the game as Philadelphia tallied 34 unanswered second-half points.

Justin Tuggle, LB - Houston Texans
Tuggle, who entered the league as an undrafted rookie free agent for Houston last season, made his second career start and played in his 16th career game in the Texans' 17-6 win over Washington on Sunday. Tuggle made one tackle to give him 15 in his career.

Reggie Walker, LB - San Diego Chargers
A sixth-year pro who is in his second season with the Chargers, Walker played in San Diego's 18-17 loss Monday night at Arizona but did not record any statistics.

Ty Zimmerman, S - New Orleans Saints
Zimmerman, an undrafted rookie free agent signee by the New Orleans Saints, is on injured reserve. The Saints lost in overtime, 37-34, at Atlanta on Sunday.
