MANHATTAN, Kan. - Each week throughout the 2013 season, k-statesports.com will highlight former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.

Arthur Brown, LB - Baltimore Ravens
Brown, a second-round selection in the 2013 NFL Draft, made his first-career tackle in a 14-6 Baltimore win against Cleveland on Sunday. His tackle was a half sack that went for a nine-yard loss. The Ravens are now 1-1.

Bryce Brown, RB - Philadelphia Eagles
Brown rushed three times for 13 yards and caught one pass in Philadelphia's 33-30 loss to San Diego on Sunday. In two games, the 2012 seventh-round draft pick has rushed 12 times for 38 yards.

Jeromey Clary, OL - San Diego Chargers
Clary, a seventh-year offensive lineman, played in his 90th career game for San Diego, the team that drafted him in the sixth round in 2006, in the Chargers' 33-30 victory at Philadelphia on Sunday. Clary has started each of the first two games in 2013 to push his career total to 80.

Josh Freeman, QB - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The fifth-year starting quarterback for Tampa Bay, Freeman threw for 125 yards and one touchdown on 9-of-22 aim and also rushed three times for 16 yards in the Buccaneers' 16-14 loss to New Orleans on Sunday. Through two games, Freeman has gone 24-of-53 through the air for 335 yards and two touchdowns. Tampa Bay is 0-2.

Chris Harper, WR - San Francisco 49ers
A 2013 draft pick by Seattle who was later signed by San Francisco off the Seahawks' practice squad, Harper was inactive for the 49ers 29-3 loss at Seattle Sunday night. San Francisco is now 1-1.

Rob Jackson, LB - Washington Redskins
Jackson, a fifth-year linebacker for the Redskins, will not play in the first four games of the season due to a suspension. Washington lost at Green Bay, 38-20, Sunday to fall to 0-2.

Emmanuel Lamur, LB - Cincinnati Bengals
Lamur, an undrafted rookie free agent in 2012, was placed on injured reserve by the Bengals just before the beginning of the 2013 season. Cincinnati evened its record at 1-1 following a 20-10 Monday-night victory over Pittsburgh.

Jeron Mastrud, TE - Oakland Raiders
Mastrud, a fourth-year tight end who is in his first season with Oakland, started for the Raiders and was targeted once but did not come up with a reception. Oakland defeated Jacksonville on Sunday, 19-9, to move to 1-1.

Jordy Nelson, WR - Green Bay Packers
Nelson caught only three passes in Green Bay's 38-20 victory over Washington but two of them went for touchdowns as he totaled 66 yards, including a long of 37. Nelson, a sixth-year pro, now has 25 receiving touchdowns since the 2011 season to lead all NFL receivers during that span. His first touchdown of the day came on a 14-yard pass in the second quarter to put the Packers up, 17-0, while the second was a 15-yard grab in the third quarter to make the score 31-0. Nelson, who is tied for second in the NFL with three receiving touchdown this year, has totaled 196 yards on 10 receptions, including nine receptions that have gone for first downs. Green Bay improved to 1-1.

Terence Newman, CB - Cincinnati Bengals
Newman, an 11-year NFL veteran who is in his second season with Cincinnati, started and made six tackles, including one for a loss, and he also broke up two passes in the Bengals' 20-10 victory against Pittsburgh Monday night. In two games, Newman has 11 tackles to give him 628 in his career.

Darren Sproles, RB/Returner - New Orleans Saints
The starting running back for New Orleans, Sproles showed his versatility again in the Saints' 16-14 win at Tampa Bay on Sunday. The ninth-year pro rushed seven times for 26 yards, caught six passes for 36 yards and returned a kickoff 23 yards. In two games, Sproles has tallied 223 all-purpose yards, including 124 receiving yards on 12 receptions and 48 rushing yards on 15 carries. New Orleans is 2-0 to start the season.

Daniel Thomas, RB - Miami Dolphins
Thomas, a third-year running back for the Dolphins, rushed eight times for 30 yards and also caught a 10-yard pass in Miami's 24-20 win at Indianapolis on Sunday. In two games, Thomas has rushed 16 times for 44 yards and a touchdown for the 2-0 Dolphins.

Justin Tuggle, LB - Houston Texans
Tuggle, an undrafted rookie free agent for Houston, made his first professional tackle on special teams in Houston's 30-24 overtime victory over Tennessee on Sunday. With the win, Houston is now 2-0.

Reggie Walker, LB - San Diego Chargers
A fifth-year pro who is in his first season with the Chargers, Walker tied for team-high honors with five tackles in San Diego's 33-30 victory at Philadelphia on Sunday. The Chargers are 1-1 to start the season.
