K-State vs. Texas Scheduled for 11 a.m. Kick

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Big 12 Conference and ESPN have announced that Kansas State's October 25 Homecoming contest against Texas will kick off at 11 a.m., and be televised nationally by either ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU.


The contest will be K-State's fourth 11 a.m., kickoff this season following the Iowa State, UTEP and Oklahoma games, while it will be the fourth for the Wildcats on the ESPN family of networks.

Standing-room only tickets are available for the game against the Longhorns and those tickets may be purchased by contacting the K-State Athletics Ticket office online at www.k-statesports.com, by phone at 1-800-221-CATS or at the main ticket office inside Bramlage Coliseum.

No. 14 Kansas State hits the road in Big 12 play for the second time this season with a contest at No. 11 Oklahoma. The game, which will kick off at 11 a.m., at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, will be televised nationally by ESPN.
