K-State in the NFL - Week 7

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Each week throughout the 2014 season, k-statesports.com will highlight former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.

Arthur Brown, LB - Baltimore Ravens
A second-round selection in the 2013 NFL Draft, Brown was inactive for the Ravens' 29-7 victory over Atlanta on Sunday, a win that improved Baltimore to 5-2.

Bryce Brown, RB - Buffalo Bills
Brown, a seventh-round pick in 2012 by Philadelphia who was traded to Buffalo in the offseason, was inactive for the Bills' 17-16 last-second victory against Minnesota on Sunday. Buffalo is now 4-3 this season.

Jeromey Clary, OL - San Diego Chargers
An eighth-year offensive lineman for San Diego, Clary remains on the Chargers' physically unable to perform list. Clary, who has played in 103 career regular season games, saw the Chargers fall at home to Kansas City, 23-20, which dropped San Diego to 5-2 this season.

Emmanuel Lamur, LB - Cincinnati Bengals
An undrafted rookie free agent signee in 2012, Lamur was inactive for Cincinnati's 27-0 loss at Indianapolis Sunday afternoon. Lamur, who has 37 tackles, four passes defended and one interception this year, saw the Bengals fall to 3-2-1.

Cornelius Lucas, OL - Detroit Lions
An undrafted rookie free agent offensive lineman for Detroit, Lucas played in the Lions' 24-23 comeback victory at home against New Orleans on Sunday. The Lions, who scored 14 points in the final four minutes against the Saints, improved to 5-2 with the win.

Jordy Nelson, WR - Green Bay Packers
Nelson, a seventh-year veteran, started his 48th career game in Green Bay's 38-17 victory over Carolina on Sunday. The former second-round pick hauled in four receptions for 80 yards, including a 59-yard touchdown strike to open the game's scoring. Nelson now has a touchdown in each of the last four games and in five of his seven games this season. He ranks second in the NFL with 712 receiving yards on 47 receptions with six touchdowns, while 35 of his 47 receptions have gone for first downs, which is tops in the NFL. In his six-plus-year career, he has totaled 5,302 yards and 42 touchdowns. Green Bay is now 5-2 this season.

Terence Newman, CB - Cincinnati Bengals
Newman, a 12-year NFL veteran, made his 165th career start and came away with three tackles in Cincinnati's 27-0 shutout loss at Indianapolis on Sunday. Newman improved his career tackle total to 705, while he has 139 career passes defended. The Bengals are now 3-2-1 this season.

Tavon Rooks, OL - New Orleans Saints
Rooks, a sixth-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, is on the New Orleans Saints' practice squad. New Orleans lost, 24-23, Sunday at Detroit to see its record fall to 2-4.

Darren Sproles, RB/Returner - Philadelphia Eagles
A 10th-year pro, Sproles and the Philadelphia Eagles enjoyed their bye week. Traded to the Eagles from the Saints in the offseason, Sproles has 211 rushing yards and three touchdowns, 198 receiving yards and a 15.6-yard average on punt returns this season. He has also racked up 16,208 career all-purpose yards to rank 20th in NFL history. The Eagles hold a 5-1 record this season.

Daniel Thomas, RB - Miami Dolphins
A 2010 draft pick by Miami who was cut and then resigned by the Dolphins, Thomas rushed seven times for 25 yards and caught three passes for another 25 yards in Miami's 27-14 win at Chicago on Sunday. The running back has totaled 75 yards on 14 carries this season as well as 71 receiving yards on five catches for the 3-3 Dolphins.

Justin Tuggle, LB - Houston Texans
A second-year linebacker for Houston, Tuggle recorded five tackles in the Texans' 30-23 Monday-night loss at Pittsburgh. In seven games this season, the former undrafted rookie free agent has 31 tackles to improve his two-year career total to 45. The Texans fell to 3-4 on the season.

Reggie Walker, LB - San Diego Chargers
A sixth-year pro who is in his second season with the Chargers, Walker carded five tackles and two quarterback hurries in San Diego's 23-20 home loss to Kansas City Sunday afternoon. Walker, who has nine tackles this season, saw the Chargers drop their record to 5-2.

Ty Zimmerman, S - New Orleans Saints
An undrafted rookie free agent signee by the New Orleans Saints, Zimmerman is on injured reserve for the 2014 season. The Saints fell at Detroit, 24-23, Sunday afternoon as their record now stands at 2-4.
