MANHATTAN, Kan. - Each week throughout the 2013 season, k-statesports.com will highlight former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.

Arthur Brown, LB - Baltimore Ravens
Brown and the Baltimore Ravens were idle last week. A second-round selection in the 2013 NFL Draft, Brown has four tackles in five games for the 3-4 Ravens

Bryce Brown, RB - Philadelphia Eagles
A seventh-round pick in 2012, Brown rushed three times and caught one pass for two yards in Philadelphia's 15-7 loss to the New York Giants. In eight games during his second season, Brown has rushed 38 times for 98 yards and caught five passes for 50 yards for the 3-5 Eagles.

Jeromey Clary, OL - San Diego Chargers
Clary, a seventh-year offensive lineman, and the San Diego Chargers enjoyed their bye week. A model of consistency, Clary has played in 94 career games and made 84 starts for Chargers, who are 4-3.

Josh Freeman, QB - Minnesota Vikings
Freeman, a fifth-year quarterback, was inactive for Minnesota's 44-31 loss to Green Bay Sunday night a week after starting his first game for the Vikings this season. Paired with his time in Tampa Bay to open the 2013 campaign, Freeman has thrown for 761 yards this year on 63-of-147 passing with two touchdowns and four interceptions. The Vikings fell to 1-6.

Chris Harper, WR - Green Bay Packers
Harper, a 2013 draft pick by Seattle who was later signed by the 49ers, was claimed off waivers by Green Bay two weeks ago and played in his second game for the Packers Sunday night at Minnesota. The Wichita, Kan., product played mainly on special teams and recorded a tackle on kickoff coverage in Green Bay's 44-31 win. The Packers are now 5-2 to lead the NFC North.

Rob Jackson, LB - Washington Redskins
A sixth-year linebacker for Washington, Jackson made three tackles, including a sack, in the Redskins' 45-21 loss at Denver on Sunday. Jackson, who played in just his third game of the season, has three tackles and an interception this year for the 2-5 Redskins.

Emmanuel Lamur, LB - Cincinnati Bengals
Lamur, an undrafted rookie free agent in 2012, was placed on injured reserve by the Bengals prior to the 2013 season. The Bengals defeated the New York Jets, 49-7, Sunday to improve to 6-2.

Jeron Mastrud, TE - Oakland Raiders
Mastrud started at tight end and hauled in one pass for nine yards in Oakland's 21-18 victory over Pittsburgh on Sunday. A fourth-year tight end who is in his first season with the Raiders, Mastrud has carded four receptions for 71 yards. Oakland improved to 3-4.

Jordy Nelson, WR - Green Bay Packers

A sixth-year receiver for Green Bay, Nelson caught seven passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns, including one that went for 76 yards, in the Packers' 44-31 win at Minnesota Sunday night. Nelson now has a NFL-leading 29 receiving touchdowns since 2011, while he has four touchdown receptions of 75 yards or more in the last four seasons, which is tied for the league lead. Nelson, who now has 11 career 100-yard games with his three this year, has carded 649 yards on 39 catches with seven touchdowns. Nelson is tied for fifth in the NFL in receiving touchdowns and ranks seventh in yards for the 5-2 Packers.

Terence Newman, CB - Cincinnati Bengals
Newman, an 11-year NFL veteran, carded three tackles, including one for a loss, in Cincinnati's 49-9 blowout win over the New York Jets on Sunday. Newman now has 37 tackles to push his career total to 654. Cincinnati improved to an AFC North-leading 6-2.

Darren Sproles, RB/Returner - New Orleans Saints
Sproles, a ninth-year running back for New Orleans, helped the Saints earn a 35-17 win over Buffalo on Sunday. Sproles caught a team-high four passes and averaged 25.5 yards on two kickoff returns. In seven games, Sproles has rushed for 118 yards and one touchdown, caught 36 passes for 366 yards and a score and has averaged 21.2 yards on 10 kickoff returns. The Saints lead the NFC South at 6-1.

Daniel Thomas, RB - Miami Dolphins
A third-year running back for Miami, Thomas rushed nine times for 47 yards - including a 15-yarder on fourth down - and hauled in a five-yard touchdown pass in the Dolphins' 27-17 loss at New England on Sunday. In seven games this year, Thomas has 178 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 48 carries and has caught eight passes for 46 yards and a score. Miami is now 3-4.

Justin Tuggle, LB - Houston Texans
Tuggle, an undrafted rookie free agent, and the Houston Texans were idle last week. Tuggle has four tackles this season for the Texans, who are 2-5.

Reggie Walker, LB - San Diego Chargers
A fifth-year linebacker who is in his first season with San Diego, Walker and the Chargers were off last week. In seven games, Walker has 22 tackles with two sacks for the 4-3 Chargers.
