K-State in the NFL - Week 10

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Each week throughout the 2014 season, k-statesports.com will highlight former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.

Arthur Brown, LB - Baltimore Ravens
Brown, a second-round selection in the 2013 NFL Draft, played in Baltimore's 21-7 home win over Tennessee on Sunday but did not record any statistics. The Ravens improved to 6-4.

Bryce Brown, RB - Buffalo Bills
A seventh-round pick in 2012 by Philadelphia who was traded to Buffalo in the offseason, Brown accounted for 100 offensive yards Sunday against Kansas City but it was enough in a 17-13 loss. The running back led the Bills with six receptions for 65 yards, while he also ran seven times for 35 yards. In two games this season, Brown has recorded 50 yards on the ground on 14 carries, while his season receiving total all came against the Chiefs. Buffalo fell to 5-4.

Jeromey Clary, OL - San Diego Chargers
Clary, an eighth-year offensive lineman for San Diego, remains on the Chargers' physically unable to perform list. San Diego, which is 5-4, was off last week.
 
Zac Diles, LB - Houston Texans
Diles, a 2007 draft pick by Houston who resigned with the club last week, and the Texans enjoyed their bye last week. Diles has played in 70 career NFL games with a majority of those coming with the Texans, who are 4-5 this season.

Emmanuel Lamur, LB - Cincinnati Bengals
Lamur, an undrafted rookie free agent signee in 2012, made his eighth start of the year in the Bengals' 24-3 home loss to Cleveland on Thursday night. The strongside linebacker carded a career-high 11 tackles, marking his second double-digit tackle game of the year. Lamur now has 61 tackles, seven passes defended and two interceptions this year for Cincinnati, which is second in the AFC North at 5-3-1.

Cornelius Lucas, OL - Detroit Lions
An undrafted rookie free agent offensive lineman, Lucas played in Detroit's 20-16 last-minute home win over Miami on Sunday. The win improved the Lions to an NFC North-leading 7-2 record.

Jordy Nelson, WR - Green Bay Packers
Nelson, a seventh-year veteran, registered his 16th career 100-yard game, including his fourth this season, in Green Bay's 55-14 victory over Chicago on Sunday night. Nelson hauled in six receptions for 152 yards and a pair of touchdowns that went for 73 and 40 yards. A career 50-game starter, Nelson has 56 receptions for 889 yards and eight touchdowns this season as he ranks third in the league in first-down receptions (41), tied for fourth in touchdowns, fifth in yards and tied for seven in receptions. In his seven-year career, Nelson has 358 receptions for 5,479 yards and 44 touchdowns. Green Bay is second in the NFC North at 6-3.

Terence Newman, CB - Cincinnati Bengals
A 12-year NFL veteran, Newman came away with five tackles in his 168th career start, which was a 24-3 defeat at the hands of in-state rival Cleveland on Thursday night. Newman now has 720 career tackles and 141 career passes defended, including season totals of 51 and eight, respectively. The Bengals are second in the AFC North with a 5-3-1 record.

Tavon Rooks, OL - New Orleans Saints
A sixth-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, Rooks is on the New Orleans Saints' practice squad. The Saints fell to San Francisco in overtime, 27-24, dropping their record to 4-5.

Darren Sproles, RB/Returner - Philadelphia Eagles
Sproles, a 10th-year pro, came away with 106 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles' 45-21 Monday-night victory over Carolina. Traded to the Eagles from the Saints in the offseason, Sproles' only rush resulted in an eight-yard touchdown run, while he also returned three punts for 85 yards, including one that went 65 yards for a touchdown. In seven games this year, Sproles has 236 rushing yards and four touchdowns, 257 receiving yards and a 17.0-yard average on punt returns. He has also racked up 16,404 career all-purpose yards to rank 17th in NFL history. The Eagles now lead the NFC East with a 7-2 record.

Daniel Thomas, RB - Miami Dolphins
Thomas, a 2011 draft pick by Miami who was cut and then resigned by the Dolphins this year, rushed five times for 14 yards in Miami's 20-16 loss at Detroit on Sunday. The fourth-year back has 115 rushing yards on 32 carries this season while hauling in nine catches for 97 yards for the 5-4 Dolphins.

Justin Tuggle, LB - Houston Texans
Tuggle, a second-year linebacker, and the Houston Texans were idle last week. In nine games this season, the former undrafted rookie free agent has 36 tackles to improve his two-year career total to 50. The Texans hold a 4-5 record.

Reggie Walker, LB - San Diego Chargers
Walker, a sixth-year pro, and the San Diego Chargers were off last week. Walker, who is in his second season in San Diego, has 11 tackles this season for the 5-4 Chargers.

Ty Zimmerman, S - New Orleans Saints
Zimmerman, an undrafted rookie free agent signee by the New Orleans Saints, is on injured reserve for the 2014 season. New Orleans fell to San Francisco in overtime, 27-24, as the Saints fell to 4-5.
