Parking Plan in Effect for Saturday

MANHATTAN, Kan. Parking priority at the Kansas State sports complex for fans attending the football and men’s basketball games on Saturday will be given to those holding football parking passes, athletics officials said.

K-State will host sixth-ranked Missouri in football at 11:30 a.m., followed by the men’s basketball game against Western Illinois at 6 p.m.

The east and west parking lots surrounding Bill Snyder Family Stadium and Bramlage Coliseum are reserved for donors to the Ahearn Scholarship Fund. Fans holding football parking passes will be admitted into those lots and allowed to park in their reserved or VIP space as is the normal custom for a football game when the lots open at 6:30 a.m., and remain in those spaces for the basketball game.

Once outbound traffic from the football game is clear, the parking lots will be opened to fans attending the basketball game on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be no charge for parking for those attending the basketball game.
