FSN Announces Regional Airing for Showdown

MANHATTAN, Kan. Saturday’s 104th edition of the Sunflower State Showdown between Kansas State and Kansas will be telecast live across 11 Fox Sports Net regional affiliates, according to the clearance report released by the network Wednesday.

The game kicks off at 2:40 p.m. (CST) and will be available in all three mainland time zones, including FSN Midwest, FSN Southwest and FSN Rocky Mountain in the Big 12 region.

Saturday’s game will mark just the second time in the 104-year history that the Sunflower State Showdown has been telecast in back-to-back season. FSN also telecast last year’s K-State victory in Manhattan, however it was just the sixth time that the Showdown has been available on either over-the-air or network cable television.

FSN’s production of Saturday's regular-season finale will mark Kansas State’s sixth television appearance of the season including pay-per-view and the Wildcats’ third in as many weeks.
