MANHATTAN, Kan. – Following a dramatic four-overtime win on Saturday, the Kansas State Athletics Department has announced details for the December 3 Fan Appreciation Day game against Iowa State to thank fans for their terrific support throughout the season.

“Our fans have made a difference over the years for this football program and I appreciate them so very much,” head coach Bill Snyder said. “We have such a wonderful group that genuinely cares about Kansas State University, our student-athletes and our athletics program and truly has been an instrumental piece of the success of our football program.”

K-State Athletics is inviting all fans to attend Fan Appreciation Day as Coach Snyder and the Wildcats host Iowa State in the final home game of the season. A Wildcat 4 Pack offering four tickets for only $99 was originally scheduled to expire November 1, but has now been extended until December 3 or while supplies last.

A special concessions package that includes a hot dog and 32 oz. fountain drink will be available at the main concession stands for just $4, a savings of 52 percent from the normal price.

Free K-State lanyards will be given away with each purchase at Cats Closet, and select t-shirt styles originally priced from $17.99-$19.99 will be on sale for only $9.99.

The first 5,000 fans to enter Bill Snyder Family Stadium will receive a free car magnet courtesy of Verizon Wireless, and the first 1,000 fans will receive a free seat cushion, courtesy of Cox Communications.

All fans will have the opportunity to win prizes throughout the game, including gift cards and gifts from K-State Athletics, Manhattan Town Center, Pepsi, Verizon, Sonic, Varney's, the Clarion Hotel, and the Eye Doctors. Fans who visit Sonic, Clarion, Varney's and select stores in Manhattan Town Center should also look for thank-you cards with a one-time use promotional code for a $20 ticket to the game.

Season ticket holders who have held season tickets since Coach Snyder arrived in 1989 will be recognized and receive a commemorative plaque in appreciation of their continued support of the “Greatest Turnaround in College Football History.”

"The support of our fans at Bill Snyder Family Stadium this season has been terrific and key to the success we have had on the football field,” Currie said. “Let’s finish the season with a packed house on December 3 as we honor our 22 football senior student-athletes and cap what has been a memorable and exciting season so far.”

Fans are encouraged to arrive early as the 2011 senior class is recognized prior to the 11:30 a.m. kickoff. Tickets are also available for $20 to the home finale for those who show a military ID.
