K-State in the NFL - Week 11

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Each week throughout the 2014 season, k-statesports.com will highlight former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.

Arthur Brown, LB - Baltimore Ravens
Brown and the Baltimore Ravens were off last week. A second-round selection in the 2013 NFL Draft, Brown has played in two games this season for the 6-4 Ravens.

Bryce Brown, RB - Buffalo Bills
Brown, a seventh-round pick in 2012 by Philadelphia who was traded to Buffalo in the offseason, starting at running back in the Bills' 22-9 loss at Miami Thursday night. The second year pro hauled in seven receptions for 57 yards and ran six times for 14 yards. Brown has recorded 112 receiving yards on the 13 catches and 64 rushing yards on 20 attempts in three games. Buffalo fell to 5-5 with the loss.

Jeromey Clary, OL - San Diego Chargers
An eighth-year offensive lineman for San Diego, Clary remains on the Chargers' physically unable to perform list. San Diego improved to 6-4 with a 13-6 home win over Oakland on Sunday.
Emmanuel Lamur, LB - Cincinnati Bengals
An undrafted rookie free agent signee in 2012, Lamur made his eighth start of the year and recorded his second straight double-digit tackle game in the Bengals' 27-10 victory at New Orleans. The strongside linebacker came away with 10 tackles, a week after carding a career-high 11. Lamur now has 71 stops this season to go along with seven passes defended and two interceptions. Cincinnati improved to 6-3-1.

Cornelius Lucas, OL - Detroit Lions
Lucas, an undrafted rookie free agent offensive lineman, played in the Lions' 14-6 loss at Arizona on Sunday. Lucas has played in nine games this year for Detroit, which fell to 7-3 with the loss.

Jordy Nelson, WR - Green Bay Packers
A seventh-year veteran, Nelson recorded his fifth 100-yard game this season and the 17th of his career in Green Bay's 53-20 win over Philadelphia on Sunday. Nelson only made four catches but went for 109 yards and a touchdown, including a 64-yard pass that set up a field goal on the Packers' first drive. A career 51-game starter, Nelson has 60 receptions for 998 yards and nine touchdowns this season as he ranks third in the league in yards and touchdowns, and seventh in receptions. In his seven-year career, Nelson has 362 receptions for 5,588 yards and 45 touchdowns, ranking eighth in franchise history in receptions and touchdowns, and ninth in yards. Green Bay is tied for the NFC North lead at 7-3.

Terence Newman, CB - Cincinnati Bengals
A 12-year NFL veteran, Newman was inactive for Cincinnati's 27-10 victory at New Orleans on Sunday. Newman, who has started 168 career games, has 720 career tackles and 141 career passes defended, including season totals of 51 and eight, respectively. The Bengals improved to 6-3-1 with the win.

Tavon Rooks, OL - New Orleans Saints
Rooks, a sixth-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, is on the New Orleans Saints' practice squad. New Orleans lost at home to Cincinnati on Sunday, 27-10, as the Saints fell to 4-6.

Darren Sproles, RB/Returner - Philadelphia Eagles
A 10th-year pro, Sproles played in Philadelphia's 53-20 loss at Green Bay on Sunday. The running back hauled in two receptions for 23 yards, rushed twice for 21 yards and returned a punt six yards. Traded to the Eagles from the Saints in the offseason, Sproles tallied has 257 rushing yards and four touchdowns, 280 receiving yards and a 16.6-yard average on punt returns. He has also racked up 16,454 career all-purpose yards to rank 17th in NFL history. The Eagles fell to 7-3 with the loss.

Daniel Thomas, RB - Miami Dolphins
A 2011 draft pick by Miami who was cut and then resigned by the Dolphins this year, Thomas carried five times for 23 yards in Miami's 22-9 Thursday-night home victory over Buffalo. In seven games this year, the fourth-year back has 138 rushing yards on 37 carries and 97 receiving yards on nine catches for the 6-4 Dolphins.

Justin Tuggle, LB - Houston Texans
A second-year linebacker, Tuggle played in Houston's 23-7 win at Cleveland on Sunday but did not record any statistics. In 10 games this season, the former undrafted rookie free agent has 36 tackles to improve his two-year career total to 50. The Texans improved to 5-5.

Reggie Walker, LB - San Diego Chargers
A sixth-year pro, Walker was inactive for San Diego's 13-6 home win over Oakland on Sunday. Walker, who is in his second season in San Diego, has 11 tackles this season for the 6-4 Chargers.

Ty Zimmerman, S - New Orleans Saints
An undrafted rookie free agent signee by the New Orleans Saints, Zimmerman is on injured reserve for the 2014 season. New Orleans lost at home to Cincinnati, 27-10, as the Saints saw their record fall to 4-6.
