MANHATTAN, Kan. - Each week throughout the 2013 season, k-statesports.com will highlight former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.

Arthur Brown, LB - Baltimore Ravens
Brown, a rookie linebacker for the Ravens, played in Baltimore's 23-20 overtime loss at Chicago on Sunday but did not come away with any tackles. The second-round selection in 2013 has eight tackles in eight games for the 4-6 Ravens.

Bryce Brown, RB - Philadelphia Eagles
A seventh-round pick by Philadelphia in 2012, Brown caught two passes for 28 yards and rushed four times for two yards in the Eagles' 24-16 home win against Washington Sunday. The second-year running back has caught eight passes for 84 yards this season and rushed 53 times for 165 yards. Philadelphia has won three-straight games to move into first place in the NFC East at 6-5.

Jeromey Clary, OL - San Diego Chargers
A seventh-year offensive lineman, Clary started at right tackle in San Diego's 20-16 loss at Miami. The start was the 87th of Clary's career, while he has now played in 97 career games. The Chargers fell to 4-6.

Josh Freeman, QB - Minnesota Vikings
A fifth-year quarterback for Minnesota, Freeman was inactive in the Vikings' 41-20 loss at Seattle. Combining his time in Tampa Bay to open the 2013 campaign with his one game for Minnesota, Freeman has thrown for 761 yards on 63-of-147 passing with two touchdowns and four interceptions. Minnesota fell to 1-8.

Chris Harper, WR - Green Bay Packers
A 2013 draft pick by Seattle who was later signed by the 49ers and then claimed off waivers by Green Bay, Harper was inactive for the Packers' 27-13 loss at the New York Giants. Harper made his NFL debut three weeks ago as he played mainly on special teams and recorded a tackle on kickoff coverage. The Packers are now 5-5.

Rob Jackson, LB - Washington Redskins
Jackson, a sixth-year linebacker for the Redskins, played in Washington's 24-16 loss at Philadelphia but did not record any statistics. Jackson has five tackles in six games this year, including two sacks, while he also has an interception. Washington fell to 3-7.

Emmanuel Lamur, LB - Cincinnati Bengals
An undrafted rookie free agent in 2012, Lamur suffered a season-ending injury and was placed on reserve by the Bengals prior to the start of the regular season. Cincinnati held on to its lead in the AFC North thanks to a 41-20 victory over in-state and divisional rival Cleveland Sunday afternoon.

Jeron Mastrud, TE - Oakland Raiders
A fourth-year tight end, Mastrud made his seventh start of the year in Oakland's 28-23 victory at Houston Sunday afternoon. Mainly used as a blocker, Mastrud has tallied four receptions this year for 71 yards for the 4-6 Raiders.

Jordy Nelson, WR - Green Bay Packers
A sixth-year receiver for Green Bay, Nelson carded his 12th career 100-yard receiving game as he hauled in eight passes for 117 yards in a 27-13 loss at the New York Giants Sunday. The NFL leader with 29 receiving touchdowns since 2011, Nelson is closing in on his second career 1,000-yard season as he has 889 yards on 57 receptions with seven touchdowns. The Packers fell to 5-5 with the loss.

Terence Newman, CB - Cincinnati Bengals
An 11-year NFL veteran, Newman carded two tackles and two pass breakups in Cincinnati's 41-20 win over Cleveland Sunday. One of Newman's pass deflections came late in the game on a fourth-down attempt by the Browns. Newman pushed his career tackle total to 664 career tackles, while he now has 136 career passes defended. The Bengals continue to lead the AFC North as they are 7-4.

Darren Sproles, RB/Returner - New Orleans Saints
Sproles had seven touches and 40 all-purpose yards in New Orleans' 23-20 last-second win over San Francisco Sunday. The ninth-year running back rushed three times for 16 yards, caught four passes for 19 yards and returned a punt five yards. In 10 games, Sproles has tallied 146 rushing yards and two touchdowns, caught 48 passes for 463 yards and two scores, and averaged 21.2 yards on 10 kickoff returns. New Orleans remains atop the NFC South with an 8-2 record.

Daniel Thomas, RB - Miami Dolphins
Thomas, a third-year running back for Miami, was the Dolphins' leading rusher in a 20-16 win over San Diego on Sunday as he tallied 57 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries while catching one pass for two yards. In 10 games this year, Thomas has rushed for 271 yards and three scores on 74 carries while catching 10 passes for 52 yards and another touchdown for the 5-5 Dolphins.

Justin Tuggle, LB - Houston Texans
An undrafted rookie free agent, Tuggle registered his first career start at linebacker and made one tackle in Houston's 28-23 home loss to Oakland. In nine games this year, Tuggle has five tackles for the 2-8 Texans.

Reggie Walker, LB - San Diego Chargers
Walker, a fifth-year linebacker who is in his first season with San Diego, carded two TFLs, including a six-yard sack, in the Chargers' 20-16 loss at Miami. In 10 games this year, Walker has 25 tackles with three sacks this year for the 4-6 Chargers.
