MANHATTAN, Kan. - Each week throughout the 2013 season, k-statesports.com will highlight former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.
Arthur Brown, LB - Baltimore Ravens
A rookie linebacker for Baltimore, Brown registered one tackle in the Ravens' 19-3 home win over the New York Jets. The second-round selection in 2013 has nine tackles in nine games for the 5-6 Ravens, who moved into a tie for second place in the AFC North with the victory.
Bryce Brown, RB - Philadelphia Eagles
A seventh-round pick by Philadelphia in 2012, Brown and the Eagles were off last week. The second-year running back has caught eight passes for 84 yards this season and rushed 53 times for 165 yards. Philadelphia rode a three-game winning streak into the bye week as the Eagles are tied for the NFC East lead at 6-5.
Jeromey Clary, OL - San Diego Chargers
Clary, a seventh-year offensive lineman, started at right guard in San Diego's 41-38 last-second win at Kansas City. The start was the 88th of Clary's career, while he has now played in 98 career games. The Chargers improved to 5-6.
Josh Freeman, QB - Minnesota Vikings
Freeman, a fifth-year quarterback for Minnesota, was inactive in the Vikings' 26-26 tie at Green Bay. Combining his time in Tampa Bay to open the 2013 campaign with his one game for Minnesota, Freeman has thrown for 761 yards on 63-of-147 passing with two touchdowns and four interceptions. Minnesota holds 2-8-1 record.
Chris Harper, WR - Green Bay Packers
Harper, a 2013 draft pick by Seattle who was later signed by the 49ers and then claimed off waivers by Green Bay, was inactive as the Packers and Vikings played to a 26-26 tie. The wide receiver made his NFL debut earlier this year for the Packers as he played mainly on special teams and recorded a tackle on kickoff coverage. Green Bay is now 5-5-1.
Rob Jackson, LB - Washington Redskins
A sixth-year linebacker for the Redskins, Jackson played in Washington's 27-6 Monday-night loss to San Francisco but did not record any statistics. Jackson has five tackles in seven games this year, including two sacks, while he also has an interception. Washington fell to 3-8.
Emmanuel Lamur, LB - Cincinnati Bengals
Lamur, an undrafted rookie free agent in 2012, suffered a season-ending injury and was placed on reserve by the Bengals prior to the start of the regular season. Cincinnati, which leads the AFC North at 7-4, was idle last week.
Jeron Mastrud, TE - Oakland Raiders
Mastrud, a fourth-year tight end mainly used as a blocker, hauled in one pass for five yards in Oakland's 23-19 last-minute loss to Tennessee Sunday afternoon. Mastrud has played in 11 games with eight starts and has tallied five receptions for 76 yards for the 4-7 Raiders.
Jordy Nelson, WR - Green Bay Packers
Nelson, a sixth-year receiver for Green Bay, brought in four receptions for 58 yards in a 26-26 tie against the Minnesota Vikings. The NFL leader with 29 receiving touchdowns since 2011, Nelson is 53 yards shy of his second career 1,000-yard season as he has 947 yards on 61 receptions with seven touchdowns. The Packers are now 5-5-1 this season.

Terence Newman, CB - Cincinnati Bengals
Newman, an 11-year NFL veteran, and the Cincinnati Bengals were off last week. The cornerback has 664 career tackles and 136 career passes defended, which includes season totals of 47 and 14, respectively. The Bengals lead the AFC North at 7-4.
Darren Sproles, RB/Returner - New Orleans Saints
A ninth-year running back for New Orleans, Sproles was inactive for the Saints' 17-13 Thursday night win at Atlanta. In 10 games, Sproles has 146 rushing yards and two touchdowns and 463 receiving yards on 48 receptions and another two touchdowns, while he has averaged 21.2 yards on 10 kickoff returns. New Orleans remains atop the NFC South with a 9-2 record.
Daniel Thomas, RB - Miami Dolphins
Thomas, a third-year running back for Miami, rushed three times for eight yards while catching two passes for two yards in the Dolphins' 20-16 loss to Carolina. In 11 games this year, Thomas has rushed for 279 yards and three scores on 77 carries while catching 12 passes for 54 yards and another touchdown for the 5-6 Dolphins.
Justin Tuggle, LB - Houston Texans
Tuggle, an undrafted rookie free agent, carded five tackles for Houston in a 13-6 loss to Jacksonville Sunday. In 10 games this year, including one start, Tuggle has 11 tackles for the 2-9 Texans.
Reggie Walker, LB - San Diego Chargers
A fifth-year linebacker who is in his first season with San Diego, Walker came away with two tackles, including a seven-yard sack, in the Chargers' 41-38 last-second win at Kansas City. Walker has 27 tackles with four sacks in 11 games this year for the 5-6 Chargers.
