MANHATTAN, Kan. - Each week throughout the 2013 season, k-statesports.com will highlight former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.
Arthur Brown, LB - Baltimore Ravens
Brown, a rookie linebacker for Baltimore, made one tackle in the Ravens' 18-16 last-minute win at Detroit Monday night. The second-round selection in 2013 has 15 tackles in 12 games for the 8-6 Ravens.
Bryce Brown, RB - Philadelphia Eagles
Brown, a seventh-round pick by the Eagles in 2012, was active but did not play in Philadelphia's 48-30 loss at Minnesota on Sunday. The second-year running back has rushed for 188 yards on 68 carries while catching eight passes for 84 yards this season. The Eagles saw a five-game winning streak come to an end as they dropped to 8-6.
Jeromey Clary, OL - San Diego Chargers
A seventh-year offensive lineman, Clary started at right guard in San Diego's 27-20 victory at Denver Thursday night. The start was the 91st of Clary's career, while he played in his 101st career game. San Diego improved to 7-7 and remains in contention for a playoff spot.
Josh Freeman, QB - Minnesota Vikings
A fifth-year quarterback for Minnesota, Freeman was inactive for the Vikings' 48-30 home victory over Philadelphia Sunday afternoon. Adding his time in Tampa Bay to open the 2013 campaign with his one game played for Minnesota, Freeman has thrown for 761 yards on 63-of-147 passing with two touchdowns and four interceptions. Minnesota improved to 4-9-1.
Chris Harper, WR - Green Bay Packers
A 2013 draft pick by Seattle who was later signed by the 49ers and then claimed off waivers by Green Bay, Harper was active but did not play in the Packers' 37-36 comeback victory at Dallas Sunday afternoon. The wide receiver made his NFL debut earlier this year for the Packers as he played mainly on special teams and recorded a tackle on kickoff coverage. Green Bay improved to 7-6-1.
Rob Jackson, LB - Washington Redskins
Jackson, a sixth-year linebacker for the Redskins, made six tackles in Washington's 27-26 loss at Atlanta Sunday afternoon. In 10 games this year, Jackson has 15 tackles, including two sacks, and an interception. Washington fell to 3-11.
Emmanuel Lamur, LB - Cincinnati Bengals
An undrafted rookie free agent in 2012, Lamur suffered a season-ending injury and was placed on injured reserve by the Bengals prior to the start of the season. Cincinnati lost at Pittsburgh, 30-20, Sunday night but still leads the AFC North at 9-5.
Jeron Mastrud, TE - Oakland Raiders
A fourth-year tight end used mainly as a blocker, Mastrud played in Oakland's 56-31 home loss to Kansas City as he was targeted once but did not come up with a reception. In 14 games this year, Mastrud has five receptions for 76 yards for the 4-10 Raiders.
Jordy Nelson, WR - Green Bay Packers
A sixth-year receiver for the Packers, Nelson caught five passes for 61 yards and a touchdown to help Green Bay come back from 23 points down to earn a 37-36 victory at Dallas Sunday afternoon. Nelson, who is in the midst of his second career 1,000-yard season, has logged 1,107 yards and eight touchdowns on a career-best 72 receptions. Nelson is now 156 yards away from tying his career best of 1,263 yards in 2011. The Packers kept their playoff hopes alive as they improved to 7-6-1.

Terence Newman, CB - Cincinnati Bengals
An 11-year NFL veteran, Newman was inactive for the Bengals' 30-20 loss at Pittsburgh Sunday night. The cornerback has 669 career tackles to go along with 136 career passes defended, which includes season totals of 52 and 14, respectively. Despite the loss, Cincinnati still holds the lead in the AFC North at 9-5.
Darren Sproles, RB/Returner - New Orleans Saints
Sproles, a ninth-year running back for New Orleans, logged 24 rushing yards and 38 receiving yards in the Saints' 27-16 loss at St. Louis. In 13 games, Sproles has 219 rushing yards and two touchdowns, 556 receiving yards on 66 receptions and another two touchdowns, while he has averaged 21.2 yards on 10 kickoff returns. With the loss, New Orleans is now tied with Carolina for first place in the NFC South at 10-4.
Daniel Thomas, RB - Miami Dolphins
Thomas, a second-round pick by Miami in 2011, rushed five times for 16 yards and caught a two-yard touchdown pass in the Dolphins' 24-20 victory over New England on Sunday. In 13 games this year, Thomas has rushed for 400 yards and four scores on 98 carries while catching 14 passes for 60 yards and two more touchdowns. Miami remains in second place in the AFC East at 8-6.

Justin Tuggle, LB - Houston Texans
An undrafted rookie free agent, Tuggle came away with a special teams tackle in the Texans' 25-3 loss at Indianapolis on Sunday. In 13 games, including one start, Tuggle has 11 tackles. Houston fell to 2-12.
Reggie Walker, LB - San Diego Chargers
Walker, a fifth-year linebacker who is in his first season with San Diego, made his fifth start of the year and came away with two tackles, including one for a loss, in the Chargers' 27-20 Thursday-night victory at Denver. In 14 games this year, Walker has come away with 35 tackles, which includes three sacks. San Diego evened its record at 7-7 to keep its playoff hopes alive.
