MANHATTAN, Kan. -- The Kansas State men's golf team will travel to the Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., Monday and Tuesday, April 9 and 10, to compete in the Wyoming Cowboy Classic. This will be the final event of regular season play for the Wildcats, who are looking to build momentum heading into the Big 12 Championship later this month.

The Cowboy Classic will tee off on the par 70, 7,133-yard north course on Monday at 9:30 a.m. (CT), with a shotgun start for the first two rounds. Tuesday’s final round will also tee-off with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. (CT).

K-State will use the scoring lineup of senior Kyle Smell, juniors Ben Juffer and Curtis Yonke, sophomore David Klaudt and freshman Kyle Weldon. This will be the second time this season that the Wildcats will use this lineup and the second-straight after the five-man group tied for fourth at the Desert Shootout two weeks ago. Smell and Weldon have been included in all 11 scoring lineups this season. Yonke will see action in his 10th tournament, while Juffer will see action in his ninth event and Klaudt will be in the scoring lineup for the fifth time this season.

Kansas State was led by Yonke and Juffer at the Desert Shootout, as both finished in the top-20. Yonke ended the event in a tie for 12th place after shooting a 4-under par 212 over the three days, while Juffer carded a 2-under par 214 to tie for 17th.
