Gregson Named to PING All-Region Team

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State senior men's golfer Mitchell Gregson was named to the PING All-Central Region team, the Golf Coaches Association of America has announced.

It was Gregson's third-straight all-region distinction, while it marks the seventh time in the last eight years a Wildcat has been named to the team.

Gregson, a native of Waterloo, Ill., finished his K-State career with the lowest stroke average in school history at 73.05, while he tied for the most individual tournament victories with two. He also played in the second-most tournaments (51) and rounds (150).

A total of 153 players across six regions - Northeast, East, Southeast, Midwest, Central and West - earned all-region honors for 2010.
