Former Wildcat Wins in Professional Debut

EDMOND, Okla. - Former Kansas State golfer Robert Streb won his professional debut last weekend at the Oklahoma Open at the Oak Tree Country Club.

After heavy rain on Saturday cancelled the second round and shortened the 54-hole event to 36 holes, Streb fired a final-round 66 and earned a four-stroke victory over Danny Edwards at 2-under par 138.

Streb, a 2009 graduate, led the Wildcats in stroke average last season with a school record 71.59 average. Streb also recorded 12 top-20 finishes in his final season.
