Streb Named Big 12 Golfer of the Month

MANHATTAN, Kan. Kansas State men’s golfer Robert Streb was named co-Big 12 Golfer of the Month after an impressive performance in the month of November. The honor is the first of Streb’s career. Texas’ Dylan Frittelli tied with Streb for the monthly award.

 

At the Pacific Invitational, Streb carded a 3-under par 210 to tie for second place finishes helping the Wildcats earn their second team championship of the fall schedule. Streb has collected three top-five finish of the season. With his first (69) and third (68) round scores, he has now carded seven rounds of 70 or lower. Streb led K-State to top-four team finishes in six events during the fall, including two wins. With the help of Streb, the Wildcats have had six top-four team finishes with two first place finishes this season.

 

The Wildcats will resume play on February 27, 2009, at the Dual in the Desert in Palm Desert, Calif.
