Miscellaneous Notes
•     Today’s game was the 8th time the Wildcats and Cyclones have met in a conference championship… K-State now holds a 6-2 advantage in those games… The last time K-State and Iowa State faced off in this tournament was in 2008 when the Cyclones defeated the No. 1-seeded Wildcats 66-65 in overtime.
•    K-State is 14-14 all-time in the Big 12 Tournament after today’s win/loss.
•    The Wildcats are now 46-29 against the Cyclones, including 14-19 in the Deb Patterson era … The Wildcats snapped a three-game losing streak to ISU today.
•    The starting lineup for tonight’s contest consisted of sophomore guard Brittany Chambers, sophomore guard Taelor Karr, sophomore guard Mariah White, junior forward Jalana Childs and junior forward Branshea Brown… This is the 19th time this season this starting lineup has been used.
•    K-State is now 16-2 when leading at half this year and 205-32 since 1999-00 season.

Team  Notes
•    The Wildcats have hit at least one 3-pointer in 138 consecutive games… shooting 3-of-17.
•    K-State only had 1 turnover in the first half and limited itself to just 11 for the entire game… Iowa State, however, struggled with K-State’s stifling defense giving up 15 turnovers and allowing K-State to score 16 points off of them… The Wildcats entered today’s contest averaging 15.9 per game off turnovers.
•    Despite the size advantage inside by the Cyclones, K-State was able to dominate in the paint thanks outscoring Iowa State 36-18 inside.

Individual Notes
•    Brittany Chambers scored 20 points this afternoon bringing her season total to 876… Chambers shot 2-of-8 from 3-point range and 8-of-16 overall giving her 83 3’s on the season to tie for 5th in school history for a single season.
•    Jalana Childs posted 14 points and pulled down 4 rebounds plus had 3 steals playing with an injury she sustained in the first minute of the game against No. 5 Texas A&M last week.
•    Mariah White tallied 6 points but was extremely valuable on defense with 3 rebounds and by drawing 2 charges… White also added 5 assists to the win.
