K-State Announces WBB Season Ticket Packages

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Season tickets for the 2015-16 K-State women's basketball season will go on sale Wednesday, June 10, athletics officials announced today. The 2015-16 home schedule will feature 19 home games including two exhibition games, eight non-conference games and nine Big 12 contests. Women's basketball season tickets begin at just $1.25 per game for football and men's basketball season ticket holders.

Other season ticket options include Reserved Bench and Cat Cushion tickets at $99 per seat, as well as Chairback seats for $132 each (plus a $50 donation per season ticket account to the Ahearn Fund). General admission tickets are available to the public for as low as $50 each with a Wildcat 4-Pack.

A limited number of premium courtside and floor-level seats are also on sale for $165 each, with per-seat Ahearn Fund donations of $500 required for courtside tickets and $100 for floor-level seats. K-State faculty and staff can purchase discounted season tickets in the Chairback sections at $110 each and Reserved Bench/Cat Cushion sections at $79 per ticket.

Any season ticket holder who purchases tickets on Wednesday, June 10, will receive a fleece K-State travel blanket, limit one per account.

All women's basketball season ticket holders can participate in the roll-over ticket program for the upcoming season. Fans may redeem unused game tickets for general admission seats to future games by mailing their unused tickets to the ticket office, by visiting the K-State Ticket Office in advance or by bringing their unused tickets to the game they want to attend.

Fans who order season tickets by the early bird deadline of Friday, July 3 will receive a one-time use promotional code for 10 percent off at the K-State Online Store as well as having the $10 handling fee waived. They will also be entered into a drawing for one of the following prizes: honorary coach for a game, a 2015-16 frame autographed poster, a Bramlage Coliseum loge box party for 10 during a non-conference game, an invitation for two to the postseason banquet or a 2015-16 season parking pass.

New for this season, all season ticket holders will receive concessions discounts including $1 off all hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels and large souvenir fountain drinks at any of the main concession stands (not valid on promotional pricing offers).

Payment plans for season ticket purchases by credit card are available, including a six-month payment option for fans purchasing tickets by July 3, while orders by the July 24 priority deadline may be enrolled in the five-month payment plan. Credit card payment plans can be coordinated through the online renewal applications on www.k-statesports.com for returning season ticket holders, or by calling the ticket office at (800) 221-CATS for all renewal and new customers.

Kansas State finished the 2014-15 season ranked 17th in the nation in total attendance and 24th in the nation in average attendance (80,783; 4,039 fans per game) coming through the turnstiles. It was the 12th time in the last 14 seasons that K-State has finished among the top-35 in the nation in average attendance.
Under head coach Jeff Mittie in his first year with the Wildcats in 2014-15, Kansas State finished with a 19-14 overall record and the fifth Postseason WNIT appearance in program history and the 18th overall postseason bid. The eight win improvement from the 2013-14 season is the third largest win improvement from one season to the next in program history. The Wildcats registered a 7-11 mark in Big 12 play and tied for seventh in the league standings, which marked the most wins in league play since the 2011-12 season.

For the 2015-16 season, K-State returns eight letter winners from the 2014-15 squad. The Wildcats will be led into the 2015-16 season by 2015 All-Big 12 Second Team selection and Big 12 All-Defensive Team honoree Breanna Lewis (11.5 ppg, 6.4 rpg and 2.9 bpg), junior-to-be guard Kindred Wesemann (8.0 ppg, 2.6 apg) and senior-to-be guard Bri Craig (6.1 ppg, 2.3 rpg). Overall, K-State returns 61 percent of its scoring, 70 percent of its rebounding and 63 percent of its assists.
