Big 12 Champs Headed to Europe

MANHATTAN, Kan. The 2008 Big 12 regular season champion Kansas State women’s basketball team will travel to the Czech Republic and Austria from June 23 until July 3 and play two national teams during the trip. The voyage will include stops in Prague, Bratislava and Vienna.

 

Under NCAA Bylaw 30.7, foreign tours are permissible for any institution’s athletic team and may be taken once every four years.

 

The Wildcats will play two games during its time in Europe, as the team will take on the Czech Republic Under-18 national team in Nymburk, Czech Republic on June 27. The second game K-State will play will be against the Slovak Under-20 national team on June 28.
