Women's Basketball To Hold Open Practice

MANHATTAN, Kan. The Kansas State women’s basketball team will open its practice to fans on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Bramlage Coliseum prior to the Wildcats’ homecoming football game against Iowa State.


The open practice will be held from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.  Fans should enter Bramlage Coliseum via the northeast and northwest entrances of the arena.


The team will also be honored at the first-quarter break of the football game at Bill Snyder Stadium on Saturday.  The Wildcats will be recognized for their achievements last season, including the postseason WNIT championship title and fifth consecutive 20-win season.


The Wildcats host Emporia State in an exhibition matchup scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. prior to the season opener.  K-State will take on University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in the season opener on Friday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. at Bramlage Coliseum.
