Deb Patterson Radio Show to Debut at Old Chicago

The Deb Patterson Radio Show will air live this season from Old Chicago, located at Third and Poyntz in Manhattan.

MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State Sports Properties is proud to announce the start of the 2010-11 edition of “The Deb Patterson Radio Show” on Thursday, Dec. 2. This season, the program will air live from Old Chicago, which is located in the Manhattan Town Center at the intersection of Third Street and Poyntz Avenue.

Starting with Thursday night’s show, “The Deb Patterson Radio Show” will air on Thursday nights this season on the K-State Sports Network beginning at 7 p.m. The program is a live call-in show hosted by the play-by-play voice of K-State women’s basketball, Brian Smoller. To call into the show with a question for Patterson, fans can call 1-866-577-8228.

K-State is off to its first 6-0 start since the 2008-09 season and for the fifth time in school history. The Wildcats have been led in scoring this season by sophomore guard Brittany Chambers and junior forward Jalana Childs with 17.3 points and 11.0 points per game, respectively. Also aiding the cause for the Wildcats this season have been junior forward Branshea Brown and sophomore guard Mariah White. Brown paces the squad in rebounds (6.3) and blocked shots (1.8), while White leads the team in assists (4.2) and steals (2.3).

Kansas State will return to action on Sunday afternoon, as the Wildcats travel to No. 18 Iowa to face the Hawkeyes as part of the Big 12/Big Ten Challenge. The contest can be heard live on the K-State Sports Network or at www.kstatesports.com.
