Equestrian Kicks Off Spring Season with Scrimmage

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Kansas State equestrian team won't start official team competition until February 24, but the team will be in action each of the next two weekends, beginning with a team scrimmage Saturday at Fox Creek Stables.

The team will host a full squad scrimmage this Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. at Fox Creek Stables. The event is free and open to the general public.

Several members of the English squad will travel to St. Louis, Mo., on February 17-18 to compete in an IHSA show, while the first full team competition of the spring season is set for February 24 at Baylor.

The Wildcats will host their first shows of the spring on March 3 and 4, beginning with an IHSA Western show on March 3 before hosting Texas A&M on March 4 in a varsity competition.
