Riding Background (before college): I have been riding horses since the age of 4 and before coming to college competed on the local hunter circuits in Texas.

Why I chose K-State: I chose K-State for the equestrian team, the size of the campus, and for the adventure!

My favorite part about being a member of the KSUET: Having so many friends and getting to ride for free.

Favorite Manhattan restaurant: Little Apple Brewery

The last book I read: Error by Descartes

If I could have any superpower it would be: I would like to not have to sleep.

Favorite TV show: “Grey’s Anatomy”

Favorite Holiday: Christmas

The last song I downloaded: “Whatever You Like” by T.I.

Plans after graduation: I would like to move back to Texas to have a successful career and to start a family.

Name: Hayley Milch

Year in School: Senior

Years on the Team: 2

Discipline: Western

Hometown: Rozel, Kansas

Major: Animal Science Production Management along with the Equine Certificate

Riding Background (before college): I have been showing for over 10 years.  I started in 4-H and then moved into the Kansas Quarter Horse Circuit in high school.

Why I chose K-State: I actually started college as a freshman at

Washburn University but it felt too big. I transferred to K-State for the small-town feel. After one year here, I finally got smart and tried out for the team, and haven't looked back!

My favorite part about being a member of the KSUET: Being able to ride as much as I want, and always having people pushing me to be better in everything from school to working out to riding.

Favorite Manhattan restaurant: Panera (among many others)

The last book I read: Secrets Between Us

If I could have any superpower it would be: To fly.

Favorite TV show: “Private Practice”

Favorite Holiday: Thanksgiving (food!)

The last song I downloaded: “Love Story” by Taylor Swift

Plans after graduation: Possibly Grad school, but I’m not quite sure yet.  I’m just taking it one day at a time!
