Schroller Places Fourth at Zone Championships

MADISON, Wis. Junior rider Hannah Schroller placed fourth in Intermediate Fences Sunday at the IHSA Zone Championships competition hosted by the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

“Hannah (Schroller) had a great ride, we just had one jump on the Fences that was a little tight but we are happy with the result,” English head coach Ashley Foster said. ”It was a really great course and I couldn’t be happier with Hannah’s performance. She should be very proud with her showing today.”

Schroller was the only Wildcat rider to perform at Zones for the English squad and led the Wildcats on Oct. 20 when K-State hosted an IHSA Hunt Seat Show in which she placed first and third in Intermediate Fences.

Kansas State’s varsity team will finish off the season April 17-19 in Waco, Texas at the Varsity Equestrian National Championships. K-State’s Western squad will be seeded fifth overall for the championships and will ride against UT-Martin in the first round, while the Hunter Seat squad is seventh and will open with Delaware State
