Fox Creek Farms

Even though equestrian is the newest sport at Kansas State, it has already enjoyed its share of success. The equestrian team holds its home events at Fox Creek Farms, just west of Manhattan.

The 160 acre farm is located just 5 miles west of Manhattan, KS. Fox Creek Farm is just 15 minutes away from the main campus of Kansas State University and the Kansas State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. The centerpiece of the farm is the 36,000 square foot indoor facility. This building houses a 120’ X 200’ indoor arena, 23 stalls, 8 cross-tie areas, and 3 wash racks offering hot & cold water.  There are 8 paddocks located behind the barn for turn-out of stall horses, along with larger pastures available for board as well.

The Kansas State equestrian team has full sets of show jumps and practice jumps and recently acquired a 20x40m PVC dressage arena that is used for varsity competitions.  K-State is proud to have one of the most complete and professional dressage rings among varsity teams today.

Restrooms are available for spectators. EMS will be on site at all events. All events are free to the public.

In the future, the Wildcats will eventually be moved to a new EquiCenter Barn worth $21 million.  The EquiCenter was recently approved for construction, though funding is still underway.  The project is to be completed in phases and will host the Equestrian Team along with the KSU Rodeo Club and several Animal Science and Industry students.
