Play Suspended at Indiana Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Kansas State women’s golf team sat through two lengthy rain delays Monday before officials suspended play at the Indiana Invitational held at Otter Creek Golf Course.


The event has now been limited to a 36-hole competition with the first round to resume at 8:00 a.m. (CT) Tuesday. The second round will begin immediately following the conclusion of round one. The Wildcats were between the sixth and eighth holes when play was postponed.


It will be the Wildcats' second event this season where weather has shortened competition to 36-holes rather than the scheduled 54. K-State finished second out of 15 teams at the Chip-N-Club Invitational back in September during the fall slate in a rain-shortened 36-hole event.
