RHODES, Iowa— The Kansas State women’s golf team finished in ninth at the Big 12 Championship at the par 72, 6,055-yard Harvester Golf Club.

The Wildcats notched a 37-over par 325 in the final round to finish with a 54-hole score of 117-over par 981.

“We were unable to put together a good round,” said head coach Kristi Knight. “We have had multiple good tournaments this spring. Unfortunately we did not step and play well at the conference championship. It is certainly not the way we wanted to end the season. It was a poor result. We will have to learn from both the positives from the season and the negatives. Sports are filled with learning opportunities, and this is one of them.”

Olivia Eliasson led the Wildcats in the final round turning in a 7-over par 79 to finish in a tie for 33rd with a 54-hole score of 25-over par 241.
