COLUMBIA, Mo. – Ami Storey fired a 1-over par 73 in Sunday's final round to move up 14 spots on the leaderboard and tie for 28th as the Kansas State women's golf team concluded play at the 2011 Big 12 Championship.

K-State finished in 12th place in team competition after three rounds at the Club at Old Hawthorne.

Storey improved her score in each round of the championship, totaling a final tally of 10-over par 226. It was the second-lowest 54-hole score Storey has posted this season.

The Wildcats finished with a three-day total of 52-over par 916 after recording a 16-over par 304 in Sunday's final round.

Texas maintained the top spot on the leaderboard throughout the third round to win its third Big 12 Championship. The Longhorns finish with a tally of 8-over par 872 and defeated second-place Texas A&M by three strokes.

Texas' Madison Pressel claimed the individual title with a final tally of 8-under par 208. Pressel finished five strokes ahead of a two-way tie for second.

K-State's Gianna Misenhelter scored a 7-over par 79 in the final round to finish in a tie for 40th. She recorded a 54-hole score of 13-over par 229.

Whitney Pyle notched a three-round total of 17-over par 233 to finish in a tie for 46th. Pyle carded a 4-over par 76 in the final round.

Finishing in 53rd, Hanna Roos shot a 4-over par 76 in the final round to push her 54-hole score of 21-over par 237.

Paige Osterloo finished in a tie for 54th after recording a 22-over par 238 through three rounds. She tallied an 8-over par 80 in Sunday's final round.
