COLUMBIA, Mo. - Gianna Misenhelter recorded her third top-20 finish of the season and the Kansas State women's golf team carded its best three-round score of the year at the Johnie Imes Invitational on Tuesday.

Misenhelter scored a 4-over par 76 in the final round to tally a season-best and team-best 54-hole score of 5-over par 221, at The Club at Old Hawthorne. The freshman finished in a tie for 12th to give her three top-20 finishes in as many events to begin her career.

K-State's 54-hole score of 40-over par 904 is the best of the season and contributed to the Wildcats' seventh place finish out of the 15-team field. The Wildcats defeated four Big 12 opponents in Kansas (911), Baylor (917), Missouri (937) and Nebraska (943).

Oklahoma State held its top spot on the leaderboard through the final round to record a 1-under par 863. The Cowgirls owned the top spot in individual competition as well as Victoria Park and Courtney McKim tied for first with a 4-under par 212 score.

Wildcat sophomore Whitney Pyle recorded a 4-over par 76 in the third round to push her into a tie for 36th. She tallied a three-round score of 13-over par 229.

Finishing in a tie for 41st was Paige Osterloo as the junior scored an 8-over par 80 in the final round to move her 54-hole total to a season-best 14-over par 230.

Ami Storey carded a 6-over par 78 to conclude the invitational in a tie for 45th. Storey's three-round tally of 16-over par 232 tied for her lowest of the season.

Emily Houtz saved her best round of the invitational for the final round, scoring a 3-over par 75 to bump her up to a 54th place finish. Houtz concluded with an 18-over par 234.

Hanna Roos finished in a tie for 69th and recorded a 54-hole score of 23-over par 239.

K-State will continue action on Oct. 11-13, at the Dale McNamara Invitational in Tulsa, Okla.
