SUNNER CAPTURES FIRST PODIUM FINISHKansas State Freshman Abbi Sunner grabbed her first career podium finish when she tied for 2nd at the Baja Classic. Sunner joins former Wildcats Carrie Chambers and Christin Boucher as the only Wildcats to accomplish this feat in their freshman year. If Sunner could notch one more podium finish this season she would become the only Wildcat to accomplish this twice in their first season. Sunner has finished in the top 10 in two of the three events that she has competed in this season. She finished tied for 10th at the Chip-N-Club Invitational in Lincoln last fall.

TOP 20 PRESENCE:  Kansas State has placed at least one Wildcat in the top 20 in their last 10 tournaments, and 15 of their last 16 overall. The Wildcats placed a player in the top 20 every invitational this season and hope to continue that streak throughout the spring portion of their schedule. The last tournament that the Wildcats did not have a player finish in the top 20 was at the Texas A&M Momorial in March of 2006.
