Wildcats in 15th at MoMorial

BRYAN, Texas Kansas State finished the second day of the Texas A&M Mo’Morial in 15th place after carding a second round 322.


Arizona State maintained the overall team-lead with a 296 second round. Southern California’s Paola Moreno posted a 70, two under par in the second round, to climb into the overall individual lead.


“We had a better total score today but we are still not executing around the greens,” said head coach Kristi Knight. “We had good stretches of holes but have not been able to sustain it as a team. I feel like we are close but not there yet.”


Junior Michelle Regan shot a second round 77(+5) to finish the second day of the tourney tied for 25th.


Junior Hailey Mireles carded a second round 82 (+10) to finish tied for 44th
