K-State Heads South For DAC Invitational

MANHATTAN, Kan.— The Kansas State women’s golf team will travel to Dallas, Texas, April 4-6, to compete in the Dallas Athletic Club Invitational at the par 72, 6,301-yard Dallas Athletic Club.

The Wildcats will play 18 holes each day with tee times beginning at 8 a.m., on Friday and Saturday and a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m., on Sunday.

K-State will send the scoring lineup of Olivia Eliasson, Whitney Pyle, Gianna Misenhelter, Carly Ragains and Hanna Roos marking the third-consecutive tournament the Wildcats have used this lineup.

Eliasson led Kansas State at the Briar’s Creek Invitational with a 54-hole score of 12-over par 228, notching her fifth top-20 finish of the season.

Pyle turned in a 19-over par 235 to finish in 47th. The senior looks to continue her successful season as she currently leads the team in stroke average with a 76.13.

Misenhelter fired a 23-over par 239 to finish in 57th at the Briar’s Creek Invitational. Two strokes behind Misenhelter was Ragains, while Roos finished with a 54-hole score of 28-over par 244.

Kansas State will be joined in the DAC Invitational by Denver, Louisville, Marshall, Missouri State, Nebraska, North Texas, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, SMU, UTSA and Wisconsin.
