Christine Boucher Earns First Professional Win

MANHATTAN, Kan. Former Kansas State women’s golfer Christine Boucher picked up her first win as a professional as she won the Canadian Women’s Tour Event at Settler’s Ghost Golf Club in Barrie, Ontario.

Boucher, a 2004 Kansas State graduate, shot a 75 in the first round before carding a 70 in the second round to force a three-way playoff. Boucher took the win after sinking a 20-foot birdie putt on the second extra hole.

Boucher capped an impressive career at Kansas State by being named First Team All-Big 12 and the Big 12 Player of the Year back in 2004.
