Wildcats Set for Tough NMSU Invite

FINISHING STRONG:  The Wildcats have finished their last two tournaments with strong rounds to help their finishing position on the final day. If the Wildcats can do the same this week they will be in line for a strong finish. Last time K-State traveled to the New Mexico State for the Price’s Invitational they had a solid first two rounds, but struggled in the final day to fall down the leaderboard. The Wildcats will look to finish strong again this weekend to claim their second top-five finish of the year.

Davis (44), Big 12 opponents Oklahoma (49), Colorado (51), Missouri (55), Baylor (56), and Kansas (61). The rest of the field consists of Idaho (60), host NMSU (62), Hawaii (63), Nevada (68), UTEP (86), Colorado State (94), Boise State (96), and Gonzaga (153).

THE FORMAT:  The teams will tee off on Monday and Tuesday  at 8:30 a.m. with 18 holes. Wednesday’s third and finial round will be a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The low four individual scores will determine the team score for each round.

THE HOST NMSU Golf Course:  The home course of the New Mexico State University Aggies, the course is located in Las Cruces, N.M. The par 72 course will play at 6,319 yards.
