COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – No. 66 Kansas State looked to halt a two-match skid on Sunday, but Air Force outlasted K-State with a 4-3 win.

The Basics

• Kansas State secured the early 1-0 lead, by winning the doubles point for the third time this season.
• At number one doubles, sophomores Palma Juhasz and Livia Cirnu carded a 6-4 win over Tracy Landram and Mary Meyers. The win was the first for the duo of Juhasz and Cirnu.
• At number three doubles, sophomores Maria Panaite and Riley Nizzi teamed up to defeat Chloe Forlini and Carly Hatcliff, 6-3. Panaite and Nizzi are 4-6 in their careers when paired together, including a 3-5 mark this season.

• K-State recorded wins at number two and five singles.
• At number two singles, sophomore Iva Bago tabulated a 6-4, 6-3 win over Mary Meyers. Bago is 10-6 this season and 21-26 in her career. With one win, Bago will equal her win total from last season of 11.
• Senior Amina St. Hill registered a 7-5, 6-0 win over Lily Forlini at number five singles. St. Hill has now won nine of her last 10 matches, including a current streak of five straight. Her career record now stands at 45-45 including an 11-11 career mark at number five singles.
• Air Forced registered wins at number one, three, four and six singles. The Falcons clinched the win with a 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 win at number six singles.
• Kansas State is 11-34 against teams from the Mountain West Conference.
• As a team, K-State is now 59-51 in singles action and 20-29 in doubles.
