LUBBOCK, Texas – For the first time this season, No. 53 Kansas State women’s tennis was swept by and opponent, falling 7-0 to No. 63 Texas Tech on Saturday afternoon at McLeod Tennis Center. K-State drops to 10-2 this season and 1-1 in Big 12 action while Texas Tech improves to 12-3 and 2-0 in league play.

K-State returns to the Manhattan-area to open its Big 12 home slate on Friday, March 25, as the Wildcats host No. 19 Texas at 2 p.m. The site of the match will be determined Friday morning based on the weather conditions. If the match is played outdoors, it will be played at the Wamego Recreation Complex. If the match is indoors, it will be played at the Body First Tennis and Fitness Complex.
