Huljev Captures Singles Win in Georgia

ATHENS, Ga. Kansas State’s Antea Huljev won her first singles match of the new year, as the Wildcats competed in the second day of the Georgia Invitational.

 

Huljev, a freshman from Velenje, Slovenia, evened her career record at 6-6 with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Arres Marine of Troy. Huljev has now won three straight singles matches, dating back to the final two matches of the fall at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational.

 

Kansas State finishes competition at the Georgia Invitational on Sunday. K-State will take on Troy in doubles play beginning at 10 a.m., followed by singles play against Mississippi State.
