K-State Win Streak Halted at Four

TULSA, Okla. Kansas State women’s tennis dropped its first match of the season with a 6-1 decision to No. 42 Tulsa on Sunday afternoon at the Case Tennis Center. The loss ended K-State’s four-match winning, which was tied for the second-longest in school history.

The Wildcats’ (4-1, 0-0 Big 12) only victory came at the number four singles position, as freshman Antea Huljev defeated Rebecca Row, 6-1, 6-3. This was the second win of the weekend for the Velenje, Slovakia product and brings her overall record to 9-9.

Kansas State will continue action on its four-match road trip, as the Wildcats head to Utah to take on the Utes on Feb. 22 and BYU on Feb. 23.
