K-State Falls to Buffaloes

MANHATTAN, Kan. Kansas State was unable to break through in singles action on Sunday afternoon and had its losing streak extended to five with a 7-0 defeat to Colorado.

The Buffaloes (8-5, 4-0 Big 12) swept through doubles action to earn the point. This was the first time in four matches that K-State (3-7, 0-3 Big 12) had dropped a doubles point.

At the numbers one through three singles positions, K-State extended the matches to three sets, but were unable to come away with a win.

K-State returns to action on March 28 and March 29 at Oklahoma State and Oklahoma. This will be the start of a five-match Big 12 road trip for the Wildcats.
