Wildcats Fall to No. 33 Aggies

COLLEGE STATION, Texas Kansas State could not put an end to its losing skid on Friday night, as No. 33 Texas A&M defeated the Wildcats 7-0 at George P. Mitchell Tennis Center.


K-State (6-11, 2-6 Big 12) was swept through doubles action, but did not go down without a fight from the number one doubles pair of senior Olga Klimova and junior Katerina Kudlackova. The duo extended Anna Blagodarova and Tiffany Clifford to a tie break, but the Aggies came away victorious, 9-8.


Texas A&M (13-6, 7-1 Big 12) registered straight set wins at numbers three and five and received a default win at number six to clinch the match. The Aggies are now 14-0 against the Wildcats in the series between the schools.


Kansas State will continue action in Texas, as they face the No. 20 Longhorns at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
