Niedermayerova, the first two-time ITA All-American in school history, enters her final campaign with the Wildcats ranked No. 12 in the nation in singles play. In the 2012-13 season, the product of Brno, Czech Republic, reached a career-high ITA singles ranking of No. 11 in the nation on March 26 and concluded the season ranked No. 18 following her trip to the Round of 16 at the 2013 NCAA Division I Singles Championships in Champaign, Ill.

Niedermayerova concluded her 2012-13 season with a school record mark of 32-10 (.762). She ended the season with wins in six of her final eight matches and possessed a 12-8 record against ITA ranked singles opponents. She earned her second straight ITA All-American honor, her second career ITA Central Region Player to Watch award and garnered her third straight unanimous All-Big 12 singles selection.

She was also successful in the classroom in 2012-13, as she earned her first Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-America At-Large First Team citation, her second straight Academic All-Big 12 First Team honor and the Big 12 Conference’s inaugural Scholar-Athlete of the Year for women’s tennis.

For her career, Niedermayerova owns the school record for singles wins with an 80-33 (.708) mark. Her career singles winning percentage of .708 ranks second in school history.

For the 29th year, the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., will serve as the host site for the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships. The national event is set to begin on Saturday, September 28 with pre-qualifying singles and doubles matches, which will once again be hosted by UCLA. Main draw action is slated for Thursday, October 3-6.

For the third straight year, Niedermayerova has been selected for the singles main draw of the Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships. The pair will lead a talented quintet of freshmen brought in by K-State head coach Steve Bietau. The five newcomers for the 2013-14 season are: Iva Bago, Liv Cirnu, Palma Juhasz, Tegan Louw and Maria Panaite.

Kansas State will dedicate the new Mike Goss Tennis Stadium in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday at 11 a.m. Located at the new outdoor facility for the Chester E.
